Justice Clarence Thomas: A National Treasure
16 May 2022
CLAY: We were just talking about the Supreme Court and protests, and Clarence Thomas seems to be having a good time right now, despite all the critics coming after him. This was Thomas explaining when he might retire. Enjoy.
Clarence Thomas says he’s told the media for a long time that he’ll leave his job when he gets as bad at it as the media is at theirs. This is great: pic.twitter.com/mjh9ozaxuV

BUCK: The man’s a national treasure, Clay — a national treasure — Justice Thomas. Fantastic.
CLAY: He is having a moment, I think, as many different things that he has fought for over a generation on the court — nearly two generations — are starting to come to fruition. It is really kind of remarkable to see, and it’s getting harder and harder to attack him because I think more and more people are coming to the reality of how consistent he’s been and principled over the years despite the attacks.
