Biden Recession Looks More and More Likely

BUCK: A recession is not fun — that’s not good — and they’re talking about it more and more, and I think it’s coming. Here’s Fed chair Jerome Powell on What’s Up Next?
Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell: Avoiding a recession “is going to be a challenging task, and it’s been made more challenging in the last couple of months.” pic.twitter.com/wu866eaRGt

BUCK: Yeah, “a challenging task.” That is Fed bureaucrat-speak for we’re probably gonna have to hit a recession here, and we’ll find out soon. I mean, we’ll find out in just a matter of weeks if we’re technically in a recession. I guess it’d have to be the end of the second quarter then they’d have to do… Maybe what, July, I guess, we’d have to find out? Not that far off. And, Clay, that’s a tough one to sell. Gas over $4 a gallon in every state now, a recession, a wide-open border, high crime, war in Europe. It’s not good.
CLAY: Baby formula not on the shelves. You can’t even come up with… If you were doing a Mad Libs of how awful things were gonna be in Joe Biden’s America, would you have ever believed there wouldn’t be baby formula on the shelves? You couldn’t even come up with something that ridiculous.
BUCK: It’s amazing.
