Biden Regime Drops Covid Test Requirement to Enter U.S.

CLAY: A couple of detailed, beneficial, we’ll say positive stories, even though there’s no basis in reality for why they’re changing now. We were talking for what year plus now it feels like about this stupid requirement, that if you go out of the country, you have to have a negative covid test, in order to return to the country. And probably some of you listening right now, have gotten stuck overseas for a variety of reasons.

Even though you can cross our southern border with no testing requirements at all. I used as an example, Buck. If you go down to Cancun or you go somewhere in Mexico. If you’re on the West Coast, you go tow Cabo, you can’t get back on an airplane flight and come back. You were just in Bermuda, right, over Memorial Day weekend, and you had to pass a test in order to be let back into the country, right?

BUCK: The most frustrating part of that process is that it’s not just take a test — which at this point, it’s all so dumb.

CLAY: Yes.

BUCK: Everybody has gotten covid. Everyone is going to get covid. Like, what are we even doing? But it’s like testing everybody for a cold, until they get on the plane. That’s effectively what it means now.

CLAY: Right.

BUCK: But it’s not even just you take the test, then you’ve descended into some government agency, at least in the case where they review your test results, and then they send you back a permission to allow you to actually board the plane, or else they won’t let you board the plane. So you go get the test; you sit there. You’re like, “Well, I hope the Bureau of Testing, or whatever, decides to actually not say, ‘I’ll take a long lunch break today.’” Government bureaucracy, man. Nobody cares how much stress, anxiety, and nonsense you’re put through.

CLAY: Yeah. And I asked when we were down in Mexico, because my wife was afraid of it. We went down, I think it was February of this year or last year. I can’t even remember when we were down there. But I said, “Does anybody ever tested positive here?” and the lady at the resort said, “Nope!” I remember talking to my wife. I said, “Well, worst-case scenario, we get stuck in Mexico for longer and we just hang out on the beach.” She was like, “What about the kids?”

I said, “Hey, we got an excuse. Grandparents, have to watch the kids. Can’t get back in the country.” But that has not now been waived. Starting on Monday, you no longer will have to have a negative test to reenter the country, that entire bureaucratic shenanigans, which makes no sense. And, by the way, Buck, why is it suddenly removed? Because there’s no tangible metric that would suggest, “Oh, now this is such a minor issue.”

There’s way more people testing positive for covid on this day, than there was last year at this time, according to the data. And, by the way, they’ve also finally removed, starting Monday, the mask requirement — which, yes, has still existed for toddlers in New York City, if your kid were in day care somewhere. All of this is just —

BUCK: Mandatory child abuse. I just want to remind everybody that the progressive activists in America today don’t want your child to be able to breathe freely at school but do want your child to be at a drag show and a strip club. That is the progressive left in America today. These are the priorities that you see from the activist wing of the Democrat Party.
