Democrat Congress Confronts Key Issue: Anime!

BUCK: Representative Gosar of Arizona is giving a speech in defense of himself after a censure vote in Congress. Did you see? Apparently, he shared a video that was violent that had an AOC… Did you see the video? I didn’t see this, actually.

CLAY: I didn’t even see it. I heard about the flareup afterwards, but the video is down now, and they’re trying to censure him — which I don’t think has happened since 2010 for a member of the House — and remove him from his committees. And it seems like most Republicans believe this censure is overall broad and setting a bad precedent.
BUCK: So it was anime, which is not something I’m familiar with, but it’s kind of like adult cartoon stuff, right? Anime is kind of adult cartoons? I’ve never seen an anime movie or anything, but it was an anime cartoon where they had superimposed the face of Gosar on the face of… All right, it was a dumb thing to do. Anyway, that’s what’s being talked about.
CLAY: Good to see our congresspeople focused on the important things in life right now, like anime cartoons on social media.
