The New York Times is flashing the red warning lights for Democrats on the Stacey Abrams campaign in Georgia.
She’s seeking a real term as governor after serving an imaginary one after refusing to concede and pushing — without evidence — “The Big Lie” that the election was stolen from her last time.
In that state’s Senate race, however, Republican Herschel Walker is running strong against incumbent Raphael Warnock. Both candidates are black men, and both are more appealing than Abrams.
As the New York Times noted, black men are turned off by Abrams and leaning more Republican than in recent years. This is a “yuge” opportunity for Republicans.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Abrams is only getting about 80% of black men in Georgia, which is way low for a Democrat.
