Kimberley Strassel of the Wall Street Journal, who answers Bret Baier’s question below, is a brilliant political analyst and she’s right about this.
Because we expected to win more, we shouldn’t forget how important GOP control of the House will be. It effectively stalls the Biden agenda and it puts them on defense against investigations Republicans can and will launch. One of those investigations will definitely be about covid.
One of the best moments of President Trump’s speech the other night was his pledge to rehire government employees fired for not getting the covid shot.
“We will abolish every Biden COVID-19 mandate and rehire every patriot who was fired from our military,” Trump said.

That’s huge. He also learned from the midterm data and didn’t talk about the 2020 election. This shows he’s listening to criticism that comes from people who want to help him. A good sign moving forward.
