BUCK: I make it a point to not care about celebrity culture. I don’t pay attention to this stuff as much as I can possibly avoid it. This Amber Heard, Johnny Depp trial is taking up a lot of oxygen in the news cycle still. How is this possible?
CLAY: Way more people, according to data, care about the Johnny Depp, Amber Heard trial than anything about abortion, than anything about Ukraine. We should be covering this trial more significantly.” I think Johnny Depp’s on the stand right now.
It continues to roll, and it could represent — from a larger perspective — maybe the end of #MeToo ’cause it seems like nobody suddenly believes Amber Heard at all.
