Billionaire hedge fund manager Ken Griffin of Citadel has announced that he’s “doubling down” on his company’s investments in Miami after NYC Mayor Mamdani made an attack ad, doxxing his New York City home as an example of his new pied de terre tax for wealthy New Yorkers. It’s just the latest example of blue cities driving successful citizens and job creators to pro-business states like Florida, Texas and Tennessee.
