Little Red Lyin’ Hood Takes Her Talents to MSNBC
1 Apr 2022
CLAY: It’s not gonna shock many of you out there but our friend Jen Psaki — a/k/a Little Red Lying Hood, as one of you memorably chose the nickname for her which I think is fantastic — has been effectively auditioning for the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party since she took over as the White House spokesperson, and she is reportedly going to be leaving.
I don’t know if they’ve officially, officially announced it yet, Buck, but she is going to leaving the Biden White House to take over a job at MSNBC where she now will be saying the same things except instead of being a member of the Biden White House, she now will be a paid member of the Biden White House propaganda team from NBC News working at MSNBC.
BUCK: (impression) “She’s totally gonna be a journalisto, Clay, who’s like calling balls and strikes and, like, not a Democrat propagandist. Like, no way.”
CLAY: That’s, first of all, a great impression.
BUCK: Thank you.
CLAY: I respect how much and how well she is at lying — I’m just gonna be honest with you — and I don’t think she’ll do an awful job in media. How would you assess…? If you were her agent, let’s say you’re making money (and a lot of these guys do make money) off of representing Democrats or Republicans or independents, whoever it might be.
I think she might actually translate well to just on-air propaganda directly, not pretending to be doing otherwise at MSNBC. I mean, they have a lot… I mean, like, if you compared, for instance, Jen Psaki or Joy Reid, Jen Psaki cannot possibly be as bad as Joy Reid, and they’ve given Joy Reid a television show, right?
BUCK: Oh, no, Psaki will be one of the stronger-by-ratings hosts over there. I think there’s no question about that. And, you know, it’s a good pickup for MSNBC, if I were trying to appeal to that audience of absurd communists who don’t live in reality, yeah, I’d probably hire Jen Psaki, too, ’cause who is better practiced in the arts of duplicitousness and make-believe when it comes to policy and what’s going on in America? I think she’s done quite a good job for a Biden that has no good stories to tell, really. So, she’s kept it going.
CLAY: Basically, Buck, since about August when everything fell apart in Afghanistan, we’ve had, like, nine months straight where everything’s been a total disaster.
