On Tuesday night, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris along with everybody watching were treated to what Clay described as a “near make-out session” by their spouses — Jill Biden and Douglas Emhoff. “I thought he was going to slip her some tongue there for a minute,” Clay said, “and I wanted to know where his hands were. I’m going to be honest with you: That was a pretty aggressive greeting up there at the State of the Union.”
You had the first lady and second gentleman make out like a couple of teenagers in the House chamber — and by the way, speaking of the way you present in public, enjoy this exchange between Buck and Karol Markowicz on whether women should wear fancy shoes or not out in public. Clay was a little bit disappointed in Buck on this one. He has things to learn now that he’s a married man.
