President Trump Says We May Just Do a “Friendly Takeover” of Cuba

President Donald Trump on Friday suggested that the U.S. might mount a “friendly takeover” of Cuba, and explained that Secretary of State Marco Rubio is handling the topic at a “very high level.” Buck broke out his Trump impression to imagine the pitch for Cuba again becoming the tourist destination it was in the good old days of capitalism.

Clay discusses the pending Supreme Court case on the assets the communists stole when the dictator Fidel Castro murdered his way to power. “The Cuban government is talking with us,” said Mr. Trump, “and they’re in a big deal of trouble. They have no money. They have no anything right now, but they’re talking with us, and maybe we’ll have a friendly takeover of Cuba.”
