Stanford Athletics Issues Utterly Illogical Covid Restrictions
4 Jan 2022
CLAY: I think, unfortunately, these are the canaries in the coal mines. We told you that Toronto was effectively shutting down the province of Ontario while Stanford Athletics — and if you remember, some of the first places to shut down were in the world of sports and initially the Ivy League. Stanford Athletics just sent out this message and this email:
“Effective immediately: Spectator attendance at all winter events will be temporarily reduced to a limited number of student-athlete families while outdoor events will require social distancing and mask wearing for attendees.”
That is Stanford — one of the ostensibly smartest institutions in our nation — making a thoroughly illogical choice as it pertains to covid.
