Supremes: Boston Violated the Right of Christians to Fly Flag

BUCK: There is the breaking news today that the Supreme Court has unanimously ruled that the city of Boston violated a group’s right to fly a Christian flag. The short version of this — and I’m on air so I haven’t had time to read the opinion as it’s come down. But the basics of it is that the city of Boston allowed different groups under the “diversity and inclusion idea” to fly their flag alongside the city flag of Boston.

And then they said, “Well, but not your flag, Christian group ’cause that’s not diversity and inclusion.” Oh! No, that was too much even for the leftists on the Supreme Court. So, a unanimous decision. This not a huge decision. There’s gonna be some much bigger decisions coming down in a matter of weeks. But just a reminder of how far left many of these cities and the city bureaucracies and administrations are willing to go, what they’re willing to push for these days, the kinds of arguments that they will make.
