BUCK: On Friday, we got Clay’s dad, we got Buck’s dad calling in.
CLAY: I will say this. Let me just do this. I want to temper expectations. My dad has no technical ability whatsoever. No email address, doesn’t get on the internet — has a phone, but it is a flip phone — and my mom is currently with my sister and her family in South Florida on vacation. So, I feel confident that your dad is gonna be reachable. It would not surprise me at all if my dad can’t answer his flip phone and/or if the conversation doesn’t work. So, I just want to temper expectations here.
CLAY: He can make it a couple blocks.
BUCK: I’m gonna have to, like, throw a flag and make sure you two don’t start lining up too many sports bets right away, because he loves it. He’s into the NFL.
CLAY: Is he a Giants or a Jets guy?
BUCK: Oh, he’s a Giants guy. Giants guy. Loves also golf so we can ask him about the —
CLAY: The LIV tour and all the controversy. My dad is a monster sports fan. I just want to temper expectations. Not sure that he’ll be able to answer his phone and actually conduct an interview.
BUCK: And we’re gonna be taking questions for the dads on Friday.
CLAY: Yes.
