WH Press Secretary Calls Kamala Harris “First Lady”
2 Jun 2022
CLAY: Buck, I wanted to hit this too. You know, things could always be worse. You could be the spokesperson, Karine Jean-Pierre, who referred to the vice president, Kamala Harris as “the first lady,” which is a pretty big whiff if you’re the head spokesperson for the White House. Listen to this.
PIERRE: I mean, look the — the — the first lady… I mean… “The first lady!” My goodness. The vice president, ummm, has clearly her own portfolio.
CLAY: Oh, goodness. So there you go. Let’s have some fun. Kamala Harris, first lady. I mean, the country would be a lot better off I think if she was first lady instead of vice president.
