This is not a good look for the democratically elected leader of a free republic.
The White House spokesperson, Karine Jean-Pierre, is perhaps aware, somehow, because she’s maybe even more out of touch than Joe Biden. Remember when she didn’t understand that people just walk across the border? That was was really an embarrassment.
Every time Karine Jean-Pierre and Joe Biden open their mouths — along with Kamala Harris and many members of this administration — it’s an abject embarrassment that they’re representing the country.
Well, KJP decided that she was going to try and excuse why Marines were forced to stand guard as Joe Biden gave his angry speech condemning half of America last night.
Yeah, that’s a lie. Okay? It does not happen regularly that a president of the United States, with military members standing behind him, tells you that anyone who votes for his opposing political party is a direct threat to American democracy.
It also doesn’t occur shortly after the president said, “If you’ve got guns,” effectively, “I’ve got F-15s.”
So, no. We’re not willing to accept that when you basically make Biden look like he’s speaking from the gates of hell with that red, eerie backdrop where he’s like pounding the rostrum and he’s got his fists and he’s yelling at us for over 20 minutes, and then you have Marines having to stand at attention behind him.
