America, Buck claims we have a rigged election on our hands. On Wednesday’s show, he and Buck discussed the greatest Eddie Murphy movies and asked for your votes on Twitter. These are the results that has Buck demanding a recount:
Buck’s choices in order were:
Beverly Hills Cop (1984)
Coming to America (1988)
Trading Places (1983)
And listeners demanded an option for 48 Hours (1982), the buddy film with Nick Nolte.
Meanwhile, Senator Marco Rubio, in his call to the show, said, “I actually think Eddie Murphy has not been given the credit he deserves for his role in the Shrek movies,” in the role of Donkey.
Of course, it’s possible that the recent, late-breaking Coming to America sequel, goosed the results.
Perhaps once Axel Foley returns to the big screen in his iconic Detroit Lion’s jacket in a similar 21st Century installment, the Beverly Hills Cop franchise may enjoy a similar renaissance.
