If you’re wondering how much of an unmitigated disaster the president’s speech was last night, Fox News broke the story of Biden trying to weasel out of his attack on the 75 million Americans who didn’t vote for him.
This is basically, “Yeah, oh, you know how I’ve been saying that Trump supporters are an existential threat to democracy and anybody who voted for Trump is a danger to the country and Nazis? Actually, no. I… I didn’t mean that. “
So that is a pretty aggressive change from what he just said last night, that anybody who refuses to acknowledge an election has been won is a threat to democracy, okay? Fun question here: Does Joe Biden consider Karine Jean-Pierre, his official spokesperson, to be “a threat to democracy” because she denied that Stacey Abrams lost in Georgia to Brian Kemp?
The reality is, every time Biden speaks, more people question, “How in the world is this guy the president of the United States?” Last night was the most disastrous speech that Joe Biden has given as president, and, if you question whether they now know that, just look at how they’re already trying to backpedal from what he said.
